Dolby Advanced Audio

#1 Post by ibenzawla » Fri Jun 22, 2018 5:50 am

Hi, I am wondering if someone can point me to where to get the Dolby Advanced Audio driver/software for my Thinkpad T450s. I did a factory install and now I am unable to locate it on the internet. I checked the Lenovo site but I only see the Realtek driver. I also searched the forum but unable to see an old post. Thanks.

I think this topic does not belong here, but i think you can download it from the dolby page?

I downloaded it from the Microsoft Store thingy on my desktop. My x240 had it already installed, tho

You can also use Lenovo/ThinkPad Software Update program for easy scan/downloading of ThinkPad specific software for your machine!

Thanks so much for all your help. I will try that and and see. I honestly regretted doing a full restore without making a clone copy of the HDD. Will post the result.

Here is where I got Dolby for my X220 (had to remove the Realtek driver IIRC). Can't say for certain if it will work on your T450s. Lenovo does not appear to have a Dolby driver for the T450s.
