Memory for T450?

I'm seeing "32 GB DDR3L – 1600 MHz (2 slots)" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ThinkPad_T_series) max memory for the T450 I'm getting soon. Would my old DDR3 T430 memory still work in it -- or do I need to upgrade? Also, with the T450 run a 4k monitor?

If the RAM on your T430 is regular DDR3 and not DDR3L, then it won't work on the T450.

I'm not 100% sure if the T450 has two memory slots (the T440 before it only had one), so I suggest waiting until the T450 arrives before buying RAM.

The T450 has 2 DIMM slots. I don't think it can support 32GB of ram. (EDIT: The T450 can support up to 32GB of ram.)

Suggestions for 16gb sellers? Is memory from Ebay okay?

BTW, can I go with a single 16gb stick in one slot? I might want to get another 16gb stick later when the well isn't so dry.
