T430 1,2,3 keys dead

#1 Post by Thinkpad4by3 » Sun Jun 16, 2019 8:27 pm

The 1,2,3 keys on my T430 died out of the middle of no where. It was the span of maybe 20 minutes, first it was the 1, then the 2,3 keys. Keyboard has no water damage or dirt in it, hadn't been turned on in maybe a week or two before using it to find the keys dead. Is there anything I an do except replace the keyboard? I already unplugged it and tried to fix it. :(
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

Did you try removing the keys in the affected area and making sure all the traces are clean / unobstructed / unbroken?
