Possible upgrades on FHD IPS screen in T430s

Oh well, days like today happen.

I have just cracked the screen. Not the perfect one, but a B140HTN01.3 IPS in a modded T430s - previous user glued the LCD to the frame, and while I was attempting to change hinges I cracked it. I'm $75 short. Need to sell something. But anyway.

Now I'm looking for a new one. Any experience with different displays?

You have a B140HTN01.3 screen in your T430s? According to panellook, it's FHD but not ips, so any ips screen will be an improvement on that especially in viewing angles. I have done a T420s and a T430 with B140HAN01.3 displays, and have been very pleased in both cases. Both screens bought on ebay, and appear to be real not "compatible with." I have needed to do a bit of fiddling with colour management, as both showed a bit of yellow/green tinge - common with this screen apparently. You will find some negative comments on B140HAN01.x screens online, but I'm happy.
