Hi,
i have this model. Can i add on it a NVME hard drive ? Can i add second hard drive ssd ?

1) T440s use a 2.5" size slot for SATA HDD or SSD (hard drive or SSD).
It does not support any PCIe 2.0 NVMe "2280" sized SSD.

2) If you have an empty M.2 slot, you can also add a mSATA SSD, but these are generally expensive per GB and not cost effective.
Above website sited that T440s support 16 GB mSATA "2240" sized SSD (it did not mention if it was a NVMe SSD, this tidbit is unknown).

Our recommendation is to get a 2.5" SSD which is plenty fast enough and actually somewhat cheaper per GB as compared to PCIe 2.0 NVMe 2280 SSD's.
And leave your M.2 slot alone.
