Someone told me I should use the MSI Tool for the Driver: http://download.msi.com/uti_exe/mb/Smar ... 0.0.41.zip
But I get 0x0000007B Bluescreen to!

Why are you asking for HDD (hard drive) driver for T570 for Win7?

On the hardware level the T570 should be able to see the HDD (hard drive);
there is no need for driver for HDD in T570.

That's why you don't need a different HDD driver for T570 using linux, or T570 using another OS, etc.

================
As far as we know, the ThinkPad T570 was built from the ground up for Win10.
www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-ThinkPad-T ... 184.0.html
www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-ThinkPad-T ... 712.0.html

Dare we suggest that T570 is incompatible (or at least not 100% compatible) with Win7.

eg: If Win7 could be installed on T570, then USB-C ports may not be recognized by Win7.

eg: If Win7 could be installed on T570, some of its components may not have Win7 driver available.
For example, the X1C4 made in 2nd half of 2016 had fingerprint readers that did not have Win7 driver for it.
Daily Driver: (X1E3) X1 Extreme 3rd Gen | mobile broadband (WWAN)
Current Thinkpads: X1E3 | X1E1 | X1C10 | X1C9 | X1C4 | X1C3 | X230
Retired Thinkpads: X250 | T410 | T42 | 560 (circa 1996)

Sorry I mean SSD. :oops:
On the hardware level the T570 should be able to see the HDD (hard drive);
I cant change the SSD between the different Mode who is available on older System.
Dare we suggest that T570 is incompatible (or at least not 100% compatible) with Win7.
Mine run with W7 Ultimate fine.
My Mome one (the same Batch as mine) should run with W7 Pro wo was Shipped with.
Dare we suggest that T570 is incompatible (or at least not 100% compatible) with Win7.
It was the last official Downgrade W7 Pro Machine.
eg: If Win7 could be installed on T570, then USB-C ports may not be recognized by Win7.
The work fine!
For example, the X1C4 made in 2nd half of 2016 had fingerprint readers that did not have Win7 driver for it.
I dont use it but mine was still Stock W7.

Does anyone know what I have to set in Bios for Security settings to work with W7? Mine run currently 24/7 do I cant look into the Bios.

What brand is your SSD? You could try and search the manufacturer's website. If you want an example, it'd be Intel's SSD site https://downloadcenter.intel.com/produc ... nd-Storage .

Okay, so to go back to your original post. You want to make a USB dongle that has the Windows 7 Pro ISO on it so you can load Windows 7 Pro onto your mom's computer?

You need to find the Windows 7 Pro ISO. And then from there you can use something like UUI from Pendrive Linux (https://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal ... -as-1-2-3/). In addition to many Linux distros, it includes Windows 7 as an option.

Make sure you back up the current Windows 7 Professional environment for your mother's computer in case something goes wrong. You don't need a driver for your hard drive/SSD when you do this because it will be recognized in the installation.

Also, as far as I know, Lenovo does not make their own SSD.

Hi
I found an Solution. With Nlite I delete the Win7 Ultimate from the USB Dongle than I run the MSI Tool to add the Driver.
That works ok but there where some Error I could fix with different Win Updates.

But..... I cant active the Windows with the Original Lenovo Key who was installed.

So how to active Win with the original Key? I dont have any Sticker visible. Are there some hidden? :cry:

The license sticker is usually under the battery on these models. Whether it succeeds in activating your pirated Windows version is something I cannot be sure about.
Thinkpad 25 (20K7), T490 (20N3), Yoga 14 (20FY), T430s (IPS FHD + Classic Keyboard), X220 4291-4BG

If it was sold with Win7, the license should be embedded in the BIOS. But it will only activate a matching version (probably Professional, not Ultimate), and only of OEM flavor. You should be able to obtain recovery media from Lenovo.

What I know W7 NEVER was look up in the Bios just W10 do it.
Sure i have W7 Pro installed!
Again the W7 that was shipped have an Bug with the Graphic Card! When I was installed on mine a Fresh W7 the Graphic works normal.
On my Moms T570 with default W7 the same Movie sucks. Now with a Fresh even its a Trial Version on here the Graphic is how it should be.
