T450 vs.T470 RAM?

#1 Post by Olwe » Mon Nov 04, 2019 11:08 am

Is RAM memory in a T450 transferable to a T470? I see the T450 uses for example a DDR3L-1600 SODIMM stick, while a T470 might use a DDR4-2400 SODIMM stick. I'm guessing you can't use one in the other. . . .

You are correct that DDR3 and DDR4 are physically incompatible.
