T430S Shuts down at about 30% battery

Hi all. I have a T430s that keeps shutting down at around the 30% remaining battery. The laptop just shuts down and can't be restarted unless I reattach the AC adapter, so it seems that the battery is misreporting the amount of power left. The battery life is also very low, less than 2 1/2 hours.

I've tried a battery calibration and updating the firmware (the panasonic battery issue) and neither option has made a difference. This is my 2nd battery that is behaving this way. The original one came with the T430s when I bought it second hand. The 2nd was an ebay purchase some time ago.

I'm hoping that I've just been unlucky with battery's so if anyone can suggest a reputable UK source for a good quality battery or has any other advice that would be great.

That battery pack is definitely bad, there's a dead cell inside. Can't help with finding a replacement though, as I do not live in the UK.

Looks like they don't have batteries for T430s in stock, though.

Yeah non in stock there, looks like I'll just have to take a punt on something. Any other suggestions.

more like the battery itself.
have you been try to find it on aliexpress? well not genuine of course, but at least wont too expensive either.
