Best touchpad for T530?

#1 Post by wrybread » Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:34 pm

I just got a new-to-me T530 and it has a heavily textured touchpad, so textured that it's a little irritating to my finger tip.

I was wondering if there are any other options for a touchpad for this laptop?

Does anyone have a favorite?

That's only a sticker, which can easily be replaced.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (the Real Black Stuff). And pigs CAN fly!

Wow and thank you! Massive improvement without it. I had no idea.

Is there a danger of the touchpad wearing out if I use no sticker at all?

If so, any suggestion for a smooth sticker replacement?

danger maybe not since its only a plate of plactic, if you want more little bit comfortable you can try to buy some 3M carbon fiber skins on ebay or anywhere, cut it as size as your touchpad, and youll good to go.
