I read this tutorial
https://medium.com/@n4ru/the-definitive ... ff3f6a8e2e
and have no clue on that.
If i understood properly from this single pipe heatsinks
04W3267 / 04W3268 / 04X3787
only 04W3268 is a a DELTA
But from this double pipes heatsinks i dont know which are delta/toshiba ones ane how many versions of each one exist.
04W3269 / 0B41088 / 04W3270
04W3269-04X3788 look like dobule pipe delta
https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Lenovo-IBM ... 1946346685
but here 04W3269 looks like double pipe toshiba ( noisy one)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Genuine-Le ... 2101252458
Is it possible? there is info in tutorial thatn toshiba/delta have incompatible fans/pipes so it looks strage that signature 04W3269 exist with two differenc delta/toshiba fans on this ebay offerts
Does enyone have knowledge how it looks like with this fans?
Now i have part nr 04W3268
mfg part 0B41087 and have some heat problems but i dont know it this is made by damaged heatsink or old thermo paste... laptop has 15 Celsius degree higher temperatures than other piece of t430.
Also, here's some pics kindly posted by RBS to help you tell the difference: https://imgur.com/a/LJZ9Z.
Is it possible that old thermo paste could cause +10-15 celsius more in comparison to 100% efficient other piece of t430?

Old paste and dust buildup can cause that. Clean heatsink and change paste. If that doesn't solve it try the heatsink from the other T430.
Backup: X601 Core 2 Duo T8100

this is foto from efficient heatsing t430
Ant this are fotos of my t430 with problematic heatsink
there is a little flattened end of the tube in my heatsing but as i am layman, i don't know if it matters

As said above, clean the CPU and the fan, replace the thermal paste with a good one, like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut or Hydronaut.
For a how-to: http://www.arcticsilver.com/pdf/appmeth ... d_v1.1.pdf
Note: do NOT buy Arctic Silver 5 (AS-5), it is not very efficient, it is outdated and it needs 200 hours to "settle in"!

I bought budget arctic MX2 for budget laptop
Will dezynfection alcohol be OK for cleaning CPU? It contains 70% etanol, 2% of Izopropanol and some little add of glicerin.
