Is this service / program , necessary for my T440s ? Can i disable/delete it ?

Sierra Wireless is the Wireless WAN (Cellular Modem) card. If you are not actively using it, there should not be a running service.

It's not WiFi. It's a cellular modem (3G/4G).

cellular modem means, internet from tel company ? Conecting like mobile but for internet use ? This you mean ?
