Hello everyone, fresh installation, all drivers showing up to date yet the native screen resolution of 2560x1440 does not show. I assume this is a driver issue, but run out of ideas how to make the option show to be selectable.
Yes, I am confident the display has that resolution.
Take a look at our

Re: T470p doesn`t show native 2560x1440 resolution
Maybe a previous owner may have replaced the screen with FHD (1920x1080)?
Still NOT a great day for a Guinness! (the Real Black Stuff).

Which operating system?
You could find out the screen model using one of a number utilities. In Windows you can use the Device Manager to identify the GPU driver (under Display Adapter) and LCD panel (under Monitors). You could also use a utility like AIDA64 to give you a fuller / more accurate info on the display. I am not a Linux user, so I can't recommend an equivalent tool for Linux.

Re: T470p doesn`t show native 2560x1440 resolution
Hi ,
What is the spec/conf. of your laptop/what does Hwinfo64 show for VGA ? I assume this is bought second hand , have you realised any other configuration/HW changes/upgrades to justify what realblackstuff is suggesting as a possibility? is it intel HD or Nvidia 940mx ? What driver are you running ? Optimus shows as 26.21.14.4318 / 09 Sep 2020 the latest driver , what version are you running ? Also what other resolutions are you seeing on both the dedicated Nvidia SW and under windows settings?
You have also mentioned this is a fresh install but you have replaced the default Win drivers with direct downloaded Lenovo drivers and made sure they are not reverted/rolled back to Win10 drivers at next startup ?
Have you had a chance to check supported/max resolutions with say a live linux USB distro?

So my R51 broke and it's unrepairable. What's the next best model that doesn't break?
