Blown Backlight fuse T430s

#1 Post by nachetb » Wed Nov 10, 2021 11:38 am

Hey. So aparently I blew the backlight fuse in my T430s. My screen is super dim while the machine is functional.

Ive read I have to check the fuses to see which doesnt have continuity (any indications on which fuse it may be in this model is apreciated). Ive never done any soldering, so whats the best way to aproach this repair without setting my house on fire?

BTW: Im not exactly sure what I did wrong during the screen upgrade to blow the fuse, the new screen was functional for about a month and then stopped working. I disconnected both batteries when doing this upgrade.
