Adapter to use barrel charger on T480s

Hi, I have just ordered a secondhand T480s which will come without a charger. It needs a USB-C charger. I know I could buy a new Lenovo charger but I have several old Lenovo barrel-plug type chargers including a 65W one which is correct for T480s. In principle all I need, I think, is an adapter with a socket on one end for the barrel plug, and a USB-C plug on the other end. I've not been able to find a cable or dongle that does this. Can someone point me in the right direction, preferably to a UK supplier? Thank you.

It is surprisingly difficult to find such a thing. Probably because USB-C chargers are "smart" and negotiate with a laptop. Such an adapter would have to know what "stupid" power supply it is connected to, present the capabilities to the laptop accordingly and perform the handshake.

The other direction is somewhat simpler, as the adapter merely requests a 20V power from the USB-C charger, and, if it is given, passes to the laptop whatever amperage the charger can provide, but they don't accurately represent the capabilities to the laptop, which causes its own problems. Thank you. This is more complicated than I realised, so I have ordered a secondhand Lenovo USB-C charger to go with my secondhand T480s.
