Can I replace my T440p stock fan with a Noctua fan?

The reputation of Noctua's fans basically precedes them so I'm wondering if there are any small Noctua fans out there that can fit inside a T440p's cooler, replacing the stock fan.

Has anyone ever tried anything like that on any Thinkpad whatsoever?

Normally Notebook Fans are very thiney compared to the big Noctua. Sadly that is not possible without major Modification.

Laptops almost always have centrifugal fans.

IMO that's a resounding no.

With an 3D Printer you can convert a Thinkpad to an Desktop Pc and use Noctua.

Despite deposition printers as low as $500 it may be better to dump Loonovo and by an Acer or Asus desktop.
