t440p: I can't change settings in BIOS

Hello everyone! I bought this t440p recently, literally two weeks ago, as a New Year's gift. I bought it used on the Russian equivalent of eBay. I went into the BIOS and can't change any settings except, say, Intel HT and everything in the "Config" tab. In the "Security" tab, I can only change hard drive passwords, and in "Startup," only "Boot Mode."
I don't know about you, but when I press F1, I'm asked to enter a password. If I don't enter a password and just press Enter, an "Ok" circle pops up and lets me into the BIOS. Maybe my BIOS is locked?

Welcome!
That seems to be a password.
Go to the security tab and see which passwords are enabled.
I'm guessing it is a supervisor password which can't be easily removed on a T440p.

This should do the trick, combined with this.

Woah! Thank you!
Genuinely, I was not aware that there was ways to remove T440p supervisor passwords.

Sorry I kinda spread misinformation there.
