Unreliable Screen Connection

#1 Post by fleamourian » Thu Jul 11, 2019 1:56 pm

Any hack to affect a more reliable connection?!?

Screen can blank when flex chassis with right bottom corner carrying, I guess don't do that! Have to apply pressure to F1/1/2W'sh area, saves strip down. Annoyingly the female thread went from new in bottom left corner screw. Maybe that not help. Probably shoulda raised an RMA but heard horror stories. Otherwise no complaints other than high initial price. I will never buy new again unless there is a 20 month interest free period & sufficient reason to upgrade, I figure X270 the last true X series.
Trivia:
X250 last laptop with old style Lenovo Logo.
X250 - openSUSE KDE Tumbleweed
Librebooted X200 IPS - KDE Neon
ThinkPad T21 - 1GHz PIII, T22 sink ~ Silicon Heaven [RIP]

It has been mentioned for donkeys years and Ad Nauseam on this Forum: DO NOT CARRY YOUR LAPTOP AT A CORNER WITH ONE HAND.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (the Real Black Stuff). And pigs CAN fly!
