x230 why in non-thinkpad

Why is x230 a non-thinkpad?

Also, for the wireless, what's are getting for upgrading to Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 AGN?

I know you can only get the camera if you're getting the IPS 2x2. what's the differnce between the IPS 3x3 vs 2x2?

Because of the broken (non-ThinkPad) keyboard layout.

3x3 antennas allow a maximum theoretical speed under 802.11n of 450Mbps, 2x2, 300Mbps.
