Registry Entry for "black button" on Win7 x64?

Can someone with an X230 or X230T running Windows 7 Pro x64 peek inside his or her registry and see what the registry entry looks like which makes the "black button" next to the microphone mute key function?

It looks something like this on older models:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\TPHOTKEY\8001]
"File"="C:\\Program Files\Lenovo\SimpleTap\SimpleTap.exe"

I'm running Windows 8 RP x64 and I'm trying to get the "black button" do ANYTHING, launch SimpleTap, launch Lenovo Solution Center, launch calc or notepad, but I think there's something different on the X230 and X230T from earlier machines, so the above registry entry need to be modified.

Thanks in advance.
Barry

Hi Barry, this is what shows on my X230 Win7 64:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\TPHOTKEY\8001]
"File"="C:\Program Files\Lenovo\SimpleTap\BlueButton.exe"

I hope this helps. :)

Thanks for the post.
I have the same registry entry too, but my black button does nothing.
Because of your response, I did put a desktop shortcut for:
C:\Program Files\Lenovo\SimpleTap\BlueButton.exe
on my Win 8 desktop and taskbar. That bluebutton.exe is a nice combination of simple tap and Lenovo Solution Center.

I want to change my blackbutton to use something other than Simpletap. I've already uninstalled Simpletap, and looking at my registry I can't find the 8001 entry. In the registry editor there's a (Default) file in TPHOTKEY and its value is:

C:\Program Files\Lenovo\HOTKEY

I'm interested in making it do things like show the desktop or run another program. Right now it's just sitting there being useless.
