Send 5.1 AC3/DTS audio though DisplayPort to HDMI

Hello,
I have connected my x230 (intel hd4000 gfx) via DP to HDMI to my TV.
My TV is connected to my reciever though spdif(coaxial).
When I connect x230 to the TV, I only get 2.0 channel from TV and Reciever.
But I know my TV is hardware capable to send spdif AC3/DTS to my reciever from hdmi source (tested with rapsberry pi).
Is there anyway I can trick the x230 to send AC3/DTS audio passthough to the TV. Ergo override the EDID the TV tells the x230 about only supporting 2 channels?
I know this can be done for some nvidia and ati cards! Just dont know if I can get it to work with the intel graphics.
Thanks in advance!
