x220/x230 Battery - finally compatible?

So these are finally universal to both x220/x230 ? I remember you can't originally use the x220 into the x230 because of the fast charge & chip..
Assume these are the newer types of battery.. it seems everyone is selling this a lot cheaper than lenovo
