[SOLVED]: Wireless LED Indicator Won't Turn Off

#1 Post by USSS » Mon Sep 23, 2013 6:33 am

UPDATE 9/26/13: I discovered that the Wi-Fi LED indicator also doubles as the indicator for the Bluetooth radio. If you turn off the 802.11 radio AND the Bluetooth radio, the LED will extinguish. With all of the real estate available underneath the LCD, you would think that Lenovo could have 'squeezed" in a discrete Bluetooth radio indicator.

On my new x230t (Windows 7 Pro), the wireless radio indicator will not turn off even when I disable the radio in the menu that appears when invoking Fn+F5.

Is this by design or is there a registry hack that I can apply to resolve this issue?

Thanks for any assistance.
