13.3 vs 12.5 multi-touch screen?

#1 Post by syrahnose » Thu Nov 28, 2013 2:50 pm

I miss the ability of my old x60s to see an entire web page without scrolling. My x200 was frustrating in this respect and I'm moving on to next generation.

How is visibility in 13.3 vs 12.5 screens these days. I assume resolution is better all round and might reduce web page size so I can see more without needing to scroll endlessly.

I'm debating 13.3 pro 2 Yoga vs Thinkpad Yoga 12.5 vs last of the x230t.

How does resolution temper the issue with working web pages?

I had a Twist for 6 months and got used to win 8-8.1 and fingering the screen instead of scrolling. Liked its retention of track point, but it felt too far up keyboard to be as comfortable as old x200 keyboard.

In general I prefer larger displays. Both my former T520 and my current T440s (which uses better display technology) have the same FHD resolution, and surprisingly I like the smaller 14 inch display more. I used the x220 for a short period of time and the display was too small for me.
