Returning all my x240s & TP Yoga

There are some issue, I can't figure it out, wifi randomly disconnect, the intel ac wireless adapter. Laptop randomly go into sleep mode while docked and while I'm working. I had ordered 2 x240 and its killing me. The x240 replacement won't get here till next week, im thinking of cancelling it also. Both were reset to factory and tested for wifi connection for days, it'll randomly drop out for 20 min and come back on. Tried on 4 access points, ranging from G to N

Also the TP yoga just died this am, its only 1 week old. It wont recognize SSD hdd, this is also the 2nd replacement.

If you are having all these other issues with your machines, then that is a serious problem. You need to see if you can work with Lenovo or some tech service to determine the root of the problem... it sounds like something on the software side is the issue. Maybe someone on here will give you some better information, but hopefully you can figure out your dilemma.

Reading Lenovo forum there are way too much issues across .40 series in general. Have you tried to get latest wifi driver and disable all power-saving modes ? My X220 is rock solid when it comes to system stability. The build quality is a different story ...

Geez... whatever happened to Quality Assurance? Is initial production the new Quality Assurance?

In that case, if you're absolutely set on Lenovo, I'd just see if you can talk personally with a sales rep. about the X240 and Yoga. They'll be able to let you know if there's any specific issues to look out for, and they can probably tell you if Lenovo's fixing them.

I reorder 1 tp yoga for now, one of my user write a lot so he's willing to try it out, previously it ships within 2-3 days, now I have an est 30 day lead time from todays order to april 10th.

Biggest problem with tp yoga was it did not detect hdd on boot up, so i get the error 2100: detection error on hdd0
