X240 DDR3 14900 vs 12800

I saw this question in an earlier post but no one replied...

Anyone know if going with ddr3 14900 will have any benefits or is the motherboard maxed out at 12800?

Benefits? None -- the difference would be too insignificant to be measurable.
Motherboard maxed out at 12800? Don't know, but it would not matter if it were (see above).
