PLEASE HELP WHO HAVE LENOVO X250

#1 Post by toxmost » Tue Jun 02, 2015 3:54 pm

If you have X250 = Please HELP! After update my bios from official Lenovo update site, my x250 dead! Black screen in power on. No beeps and another life evidence. If you have x250, please backup dump you bios (for example https://www.wimsbios.com/files/flashers ... 1.5.66.zip ) and upload to sendspace.com and link send me. . Thank you!!! And best regards.

HOW TO:

Take Phoenix Winphlash and slip him any BIOS as seeds and drain of native instructions

I quote:
1. Download Phoenix Winpflash Utility https://www.wimsbios.com/files/flashers ... 1.5.66.zip
2. After cashing in on the Backup Bios only
3. Next, we need any Phoenix Bios. For example: ftp.support.acer-euro.com/notebook/extensa_3000/bios/3a06_intel.zip
4. In the Specify new BIOS file wph add a file from the archive and choose Advanced settings, then shoot all the crows and cashing ok.
5. Select "Backup bios" only
6. Press on the Backup Bios.

=======

5 minutes you time, and you save my life!

Welcome to the forum!

Sorry you are having trouble.

I don't have a X250 sorry to say.

This is a fairly new ThinkPad and may still be covered under its warranty.

If so I would make the call for service.

This may also help, although it has a different error characteristic (5 beeps): https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/X-Series-T ... -p/2042284

It appears by letting the internal battery go dead the OPs system recovered.
