Please excuse possible reposting, but I cannot locate my ~week-old, original post on this subject.

My software development application has its own set of hotkeys, which conflict with standard hotkeys (F1 - F12) of the x240. I would like to disable the latter in order for the others to be in effect. If one of you can please show me how to accomplish this, I would be grateful.

Most likely, you need to switch the default behavior of the Fn keys in the BIOS.

Yours must have been one of the posts made during the time that the forum's server was encountering problems. Around 20 posts were lost.

As to your Fn key problem, it might help to know what OS you are running. There may be differences in disabling Fn key actions.
