Hello everyone.

Does anyone have a good source for X301 batteries? I'm getting about an hour out of the battery and would like to get a new one. I prefer the 6 cell battery but 3 cell will do if I can't find the 6 cell.

Yes, I know it's an older laptop but it's running great under Bunsen Labs linux and I've come to realize I don't need much more power than this machine and it's weight and size are hard to beat on my finances.

I used to buy batteries on eBay from http://stores.ebay.com/CBK-USA
CBK USA is located in Newark CA, they also sell under www.bestcompu.com
They don't have any X300/X301 at the moment.

I added the e-bay battery to my watch list for payday. For $20 it's worth the risk of it failing in 6 months. I know OEM batteries are super hard to find and probably dead anyway.

If that 6-cell, 5200mAh (~58Wh) battery turns out looking good, please post back here with the news. I recently got a 6-cell aftermarket battery for the X300 for the same price ($20) but the capacity is only 36Wh.
