Hi, I am trying to get an X230 convertible laptop off ebay (it is listed as x230 tablet so I am assuming it is the same as x230T-the one that you put the screen down to make a tablet). the device I am interested in apparently is responsive to the stylus but not the fingers. I was wondering so are there different versions of the x230 convertibles? I thought all x230 tablets are responsive to finger touch and it is just a driver issue (this device was updated to windows 10 so maybe that is the issue?). I can't seem to get more information from the seller and was wondering if I should attempt to get it and try to see if I can get the fingertouch function again? Many thanks!

Welcome to the forum.
Some, but not all X230 Tablets are Multitouch, the others can only use a digital pen.
Download this PDF from Lenovo: http://www.lenovo.com/psref/pdf/ltwbook.pdf and look under X230 Tablet.
At the top of each page you'll find Multi next to the screen if Multitouch.
Those are the Type-model machines you need to be looking for.
The MTM is printed on a label in the battery-bay or visible on the first BIOS screen.
