More X230 questions

So I have my new to me X230 laptop...it didn't come with an OS but I was able to install Windows 10 and upgrade from 7 (using the provided key).

So with a clean install, any suggestions on what Lenovo utilities add value (vs. basic Windows 10 stuff)? I've installed the Lenovo Service Bridge and System Update and let it install whatever it thought it needed.

Isn't there a better power management utility? I installed the Lenovo Power Management Driver but it doesn't seem to have done anything special?

Lenovo Settings is the new modern-style App for Windows 8.1 and 10, and it integrates the battery meter and a few other things that the old Power Manager had. You get it from the Windows store. I recommend it.

It's handy indeed, though It's pretty buggy still. The battery threshold issue is still there and there's no "turbo" mode like the power manager on windows 7 so there's no way that I can see to crank the fan speed up when needed.
