X230 tablet -- post-warranty extension

Hello:

My X230 tablet came with a 3-year warranty.
Warranty expired 6 weeks ago and I just noticed it.

Lenovo's page doesn't list any warranty available for my serial.

Maybe 6 weeks post-expiry it too long a period for them to offer to extend your coverage? I would try calling them or chatting with a rep online; they might be able to find an option for you. Although, in my opinion, it's more economical to go without it, and if something breaks just replace it when it happens (not through Lenovo). Heck, you can probably get a whole new X230 Tablet for the price of the "post-warranty" extension.
