Display Port - No Signal on X230T - Win 7 x64

#1 Post by francofx » Wed Dec 27, 2017 9:44 am

Hello Guys:

First of all, thanks to all those posters that helped me and other with the numerous problems a PC can give. This site its been a great source of relief and time save.

As a first poster, i'm fighting against the following:

I have a X230T with Display Port Plug (Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver) plugged to a DELL monitor via DP -> DVI cable. For some reason the DP stopped working a couple of weeks ago, so I just sticked with VGA and ordered a new DP -> DVI cable. With the new cable arrived, the thinkpad refuses to recognize the monitor. A bad cable again?
I tried with the DP port that comes with the Ultrabase, no results either.

Can this problem be Software based? I've tried with 3 different DP cables (2 old and the new one) with no results.

VGA works wonders on the Tablet and on the Ultra Base.

Also (maybe for another thread): The AC adapter on the Ultrabase does not work at all! Any clue?

All help is appreciated!
