PLS help boot problem after update of boot x230

Dear all,
I have a big problem...I installed a big suggested System Update package, and probably the boot was updated... or whatever it is called. The computer cannot boot now I get some weird Windows Boot screen...can anybody pls help, I used to be able to repair boot sector using disk utility tools like Macrium but I forgot how..I cannot get to my PC. thanks a lot in advance. it is an X230.

....sorry, i think the bloody BIOS was updated... I stupid clicked on it, there was nothing wrong with the bios...

Well dear all..not that you cared too much. But...I found with deadly fear that my SSD disc is missing, there was only a hole where it should be. Now wonder the system could not load. I was scared some spies stole it...it just fell into my backpack. I am now running a system image backup.

so...great.
