X230 keeps suspending, cant wake from sleep, ovrhtng

Dear all,
My x230 sometimes cannot wake from suspend.
I also feel it is extremely hot...
Can anybody please link some video re cleaing the inside? Any other ideas about possible cause?
Is there any safety fuse or other mechanism that kicks in to stop the NB from boiling?

I researched overheating in the forum, could not find a similar set of symptoms.

It's extremely hot while in suspend? Makes no sense.

Are you sure it actually entered sleep mode and did not lock up overheating while trying to enter it?

Do you have Lenovo Power Manager installed? Which version? Which operating system?

sorry confusing wording.
It is hot when it is on..... then kind of goes to some state, I do not know if hibernation, sleep, or whatever, only the wireless LED indicator is on.
It is not longer hot of course after it has suspended.
I have win 7, and do have power manager.
However the power manager always fights over control with the normal windows power control... I never know which one is actually controlling the power settings, in fact both are.
I have power manager version 6.

Before you do any hardware mods, try uninstalling the Power Manager completely, and see if the symptoms go away.

dont want to celebrate too early,,,but the pc seems to run cooler.

why would lenovo's own app screw the functioning of the laptop?

Dunno. I have seen issues with Power Manager 6, Windows 7 and older laptops (like my X32). Others have seen them as well. In my case, reverting to Power Manager 3 made the issues go away.

However, I don't recall such problems with new laptops...

Its happens with windows 10 and maybe with windows 7

Problem is wifi card intel 6205

same problem with this card I have X120e

to fix it replace card on another from whitelist or go to properties wifi card find power transmission option and change it from 5 to 1 (lowest) and viola!

solved!

now windows 10 1909 (and olders) works nice, stable and qiuck! (with SSD of course!)
