X230T Usb issue

#1 Post by rdangela » Sun Jun 24, 2018 3:38 pm

My X230 tablet fell on it side while a wireless mouse receiver was installed and damaged the usb port and knocked the chip behind it out of place on the main board, I have attached a picture. Does anyone have a picture of the chip or know the name? I am trying to locate it to fix my machine.

Here is a link to the location on the main board https://ibb.co/i4C9QT

Hi,
The only thing written on the component is "EH4". I don't know what it is used for so I couldn't find it online. Maybe you can find further information on the x230 board schematics (x230 and x230 tablet have similar boards)
You should also resolder the yellow component next to it back in place!

EDIT: the component you're looking for is named AOZ8904CIL
