Hi, I have a x230T. I purchased a replacement rear lid. What's the best way to swap the internal parts to the new lid? I'm assuming I can use a hair dryer to remove the black pieces of plastics from the old lid. Also what is the recommended adhesive to use to use to reapply the plastic pieces? Could I use the same adhesive on the copper foil tape? If where can I purchase that copper tape?

Ironically, i know nothing about that black plastic pieces, but I do know quite a lot about the copper tapes. I think once taken off, they remain fully (or like 75%) adhesive, so there's no need for any treatment to stick them onto the new lid. I've done that in X220 (not "X220t") but I bet the tapes are the same.
Perhaps a thin, double sided tape (Scotch makes such) could be used for the black pieces? Good luck anyways!
