Hi ,

does anybody know were the backlight fuse is located on the mainboard of the x240 ?

My backlight isnt working anymore. Before i order a new LCD screen i like to check first if the fuse isnt blown .

Any other suggestions how to find out if fuse is blown or screen is dead.

a picture of fuse location would be very helpfull.

thank in advance. !

Welcome to the Forum.

You'll find the link to the X240 schematics in the first post here: viewtopic.php?t=121522
You'll have to carefully remove the black plastic foil that covers the motherboard.
Most likely it's a tiny Fuse F3 near the LCD-connector.
Fuse name: ERBRD3R00X - Fuse, Surface Mount, 3 A, 32 VDC, Fast Acting, 0402
Size 0402 means ca. 1.04 x 0.559 mm, I kid you not.

Did you find the fuse? I've got the same problem with mine. How do you test them?
