X260 crash when picked up

#1 Post by Timpel_800 » Tue Oct 30, 2018 2:47 am

Hello,

I have a X260 that crashes when I pick it up from the table. The recording will show you what happens.
Only thing I can do to get it out of this is do a hard reboot by pushing the powerbutton.

Does somone recognize this problem? I found a thread on the lenovo forums (seems to happen with x240 and 250 too) but no solutions.

Laptop is not new but not used a lot either.

Thanks in advance.

Nothing new here, this has been mentioned on the Forum for YEARS already!
DO NOT PICK UP ANY THINKPAD BY ITS LEFT HAND CORNER.
Use two hands, you [insert any swear word]!

wow mental! I use a X220 for years without no problems. Anyway, i unscrewed the bottom cover, dis and recconnected some connections and put it back together, it seems to be fine now. One thing i noticed is that the RAM memory can move quite a bit in its connector. Is that normal?
