Good day to everyone,
I am suffering to replace the keyboard for my old x230 which damaged and doesnt look presentable anymore.
I ordered several replacement keyboard from local dealer, of course its not original, but states clearly that its for x230,T430...
While connecting this keyboards (new) to the laptop, half of the keys are not working.
The last time, when i connected another new keyboard, at the fist power on only spacebar and letter "B" was not working. Second power on of laptop - again half the keyboard (left) did not work. However, the old damaged keyboard is working.
I noticed something on the backside of keyboards:
Old keyboard sticker says MODEL NO: CS12BL-84US
New keyboards MODIEL NO: CS12BL-89US
What should i do? Maybe I do something wrong? BTW, old keyboad is also not orignal, but it works.
Is it some BIOS issues?
Think everyone here on this forum uses genuine ThinkPad parts;
some of us would rather install ourselves to save costs.
But I think everyone here uses genuine ThinkPad parts.
Current Thinkpads: X1E1 | X1C4 | X1C3 | X250 | X230 | T410

I've always dreamed of a lightweight hard case with foam padding inside for my x220/x230. Never found one. Did you?
