is that must disable internal battery in BIOS b4 unplug?
can i just unplug and plug without setting BIOS?

hello and welcome to the forum..
not sure about your x260, not even sure what generation of thinkpad it is BUT i have several X1 carbon and X1 carbon extreme (2 of each) and i HAVE disconnected the battery several times without disabling it beforehand..
BUT for safety of the hardware i would disable before swapping of disconnecting the battery..
