x240 screen flickering when charger plugged

Hi,

I buy 2 cheap x240, they work great, when fresh formated, but when windows update our system update lenovo is used, every time I plug the charger, they start to flickering(change to charger mode to battery mode loop)

Any help please

It looks like your laptop is constantly every few seconds it happens switching between "charging" and "not charging" mode, during which screen goes black. It can be visible on Windows's icon for battery which also switches from charging to "not charging". In your place I would try another charger, maybe it could help - if not, I would disassemble the machine and remove internal battery, just for a try, maybe it could help? Maybe.

Hi Jursky,

I try a box of 8 charger( I now all is ok, tested in other machines this week), my machine only have external battery, so I try with no battery and the machine works fine.
