W530 - keys shiny after 5 months of use

Is it normal keys starting to wear off after 5 months of use? I use my W530 10-16 hours per day. My keys are starting to become very shiny. Specially the 'S', 'C' key and 'Spacebar'. I am really suprised it started happening this fast. My W530 is overall in a mint condition, except for the keys that start to wear out already.

Blame penny-pinching Lenovo!
They were already skimping on the number of keys on the T/W/X_430 models, and I bet they skimped even more on the quality...
Not to mention the abominable design...

@jonas,
may I ask you, does your W530 have a backlight-keyboard or not?

From my experince, there are some keyboards that may wear down a bit faster than others, depends on the manufacturer and if its a backlight-keyboard or not...

This has nothing to do with "penny-piniching"...just for the record, the old "classic" keyboard (Tx20 line) gets much faster shiny than any other keyboard I have used. The keyboard of my T440s holds much better against the wear and tear.

The backlit keyboard like mentioned above gets shiny in what appears to be only days.

The non-backlit keyboard gets shiny in what I considered to be a normal amount of time.
