Well, he is in the "Top-Rated Seller" ebay list ;)

1. Price: you need to check other places both brick-and-mortar and websites to check on current price for your W530 model.

2. A word of advice, for 2nd hand computers you need to especially check out for these:

~Computer battery, how long does it last? (anything less than 30 minutes and it's basically a bad battery).
~DVD-R/RW (Optical Drive), is it in working condition?

***Seller said it is a 500 GB 7200rpm Hard Drive, but in another area on same webpage said SSD (Solid State Drive).
I suspect it is a 500 GB 7200rpm Hard Drive, but you need to check.
And there are no bad sectors in your 500 GB 7200rpm Hard Drive, right?

Good luck!

Original configuration, if the MTM in listing can be trusted...
2438-2HU i7-3720QM(3.6GHz),8GB RAM,500GB 7200rpm HD,15.6in 1900x1080 LCD,2GB Nvidia Quadro K1000M,DVD,Intel 802.11agn wireless,1Gb Ethernet,UltraNav,Secure Chip,Camera,9c Li-Ion,Win7 Pro 64
A reasonably powerful system that should be good for years to come. Throw in an SSD, maybe a bit more RAM and call it a day.

Of course, I'd install the modded BIOS and a 7-row keyboard, but to each their own...

I'd say its a good price, but it depends if the battery is at least 80% of a hold.
I previously sold a W530 for $500 this past spring (2016), had to drive about an hour to make the deal but better than the shipping risk.

And the description above the listing gave the MTM that I used...so we'll see what you get in the end.
