I bought a replacement LCD panel off ebay and installed it a few weeks ago. The following night when the device was running I noticed a burning smell and shut it off immediately. The next day I opened it up and managed to find a burned connector. As far as I can tell I believe this is an accessory connector likely used for cameras and lid close sensor, etc. Fortunately it appears screen and everything else seems to work. I was granted a partial refund by the seller. Anyhow does anyone know exactly what's on that connector? Finally any guidance on what I should do? Maybe I will just leave it as is since I don't want to replace the screen another time...

Download these T530 schematics: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GGuqPd ... DEI23/view
On page 34 on the right you'll find that 'burned' 30-pin connector with its connections.
Should be the same as W530 (except for the 4 RAM-slots).
