W540 keyboard choice

Greetings all
i need to replace the keyboard on my UK spec W540 and have found two. One has the part number 04Y2494 and the other has 04Y2416. What is the difference (other than manufacturer presumably)? Is one preferable to the other in terms of reliability / tactile feedback / whatever? TIA for your feedback.

04Y2494 is backlit UK LiteOn (better)
04Y2416 is backlit UK Chicony
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
