LG-Philips LP156WF1(TL)(B1) - Anyone with experience with this panel?

#1 Post by DiagonalArg » Tue Apr 13, 2021 5:20 pm

I've found some mention of the LP156WF1-TLB2 on this board, but not the -TLB1. It's listed as "compatible" with the W530, and it still available, but I can't find out anything about it's quality.

The other one I'm considering is the CHIMEI INNOLUX N156HGE-L11.

Input appreciated!

Well if panelook is to be believed, the TL B1 has better viewing angles than the TL B2. Not significantly so, but it's a win for you.
However, I know laptopscreens, they might NOT give you a TL B1 like said, they might give you a compatible screen from that model, which can be quite different in display quality.
If you want the exact screen, look for sources like eBay that has actual photos for the product instead of the photoshoped bait photos.

@kfzhu1229 - ya, I had a long talk with "Bob" over there. He was a bit slippery, but after some extensive work, he did finally tell me the screens he actually has rather than the "compatible" ones.

Edit: I did the order with laptopscreen.com, making sure they had that specific screen (and adding a note in with my order). I don't expect it, but I'll report here if there's any trouble! Their return policy does look good.
