hello im wondering if someone could help me out my L450's battery died and it wouldn't turn back on. I took it apart and the 'fuse' that's after the DC jack is white with a line on top and doesn't allow power through I was told this is because its a pass through and makes sure the laptops battery doesn't try and charge the charging adapter?. im not entirely sure if this is accurate and I would like to know where I could purchase this pass through..

sorry for the added solder to both ends of the fuse we tried to bypass it to see if anything else was blown down the line.
