I currently am getting a TPY with a SSD drive. This leaves an open M.2 slot.
Is this only for caching larger HDD drives or can it be used as a second Drive?

Any 42 mm M.2 SSD should work. Ex: MyDigitalSSD SC2 Super Cache 2 42mm SATA III 6G M.2
