The Thinkpad charger is not third-world proof, beware. Link to voltage protector to fix problem.

Since 5hrs, my Thinkpad Yoga gen1 does not charge when plugged into the wall. I checked carefully that the charger is indeed plugged in and that there is proper powers upply in the wall.
* Tried the reset button on bottom of laptop.
* Will try unplug battery for some seconds, as advertised elsewhere.
In the worst case, some electronics are fried - am in India where voltage anomalies do happen. I suspected there was one, there is over-voltage protection in the house, and the aircondition was fine.
When I touched the laptop's magnesium chassi on the side however, I felt rather strong electricity, but it seems that I do all the time also now when it's plugged in to the wall, so I guess the charger does work.
Do you have any thoughts/suggestions?
