Hi,
I have read that the mini hdmi supports uhd resolution with 30 hz. is this correct? I want to connect it to a 2560 x1440 monitor. Is this possible?
regards, peter

2560x1440px should be perfectly fine at 60-100Hz I think.
4K should work too, at 24hz or 30hz, don't remember.
This stuff is specified for the CPU, so look up the CPU on Intel's website - and do the public a service by then posting the URL you find as response to this thread!

lead_org,
Um, excuse me, but
http://ark.intel.com/products/76616/Int ... o-3_30-GHz clearly says "Max Resolution (HDMI 1.4)‡ 3200x2000@60Hz"?

this is something i prepared earlier. I have two ThinkPad Yoga S1 and ThinkVision Pro2840m. As you can see, the mini HDMI port on the ThinkPad Yoga S1 can support 4k@30 hz.
